Montebay Innovations

Built a web app? We’ll get it into the App Store.

We take web apps, including ones built with Cursor, Lovable or Replit, onto iPhone and Android: native features, in-app subscriptions, and App Review. Fixed prices, and a written quote before any work starts.

We reply within one business day with a read on scope and price.

Where apps usually get stuck

It works in a browser, not as an app
Apple turns away apps that are only a website in a frame (guideline 4.2). We add the native pieces that make it a real app: push notifications, the camera, health data, widgets, offline use.
Apple rejected it
We read the rejection, find what the reviewer actually saw, fix it, and write the reply. Most rejections cite a handful of guidelines, and we have been through them on our own app.
Payments don’t work in the app
Apple and Google require their own billing for digital subscriptions. We set it up on both stores, including restoring a purchase on a new phone and renewing after a card expires.

Apps we have built and run

We build and run apps of our own, so the problems we fix for clients are ones we have already solved on a live product. Montebay is a small studio in Sunrise, Florida: your app is built by the same developer who built and shipped Svelio, not handed off.

Svelio

A nutrition app that reads food labels and analyzes meal photos. It began as a Next.js web app and now runs as a native app on both stores.

App Store rescue
from $500
Your app was rejected. We find the cause, fix it, write the reply to App Review, and resubmit.
Typically about 1 week, including Apple’s review
Web app to the App Store and Google Play
from $1,800
We wrap your web app for iPhone and Android, add the native features it needs, prepare the store listings, and take it through approval.
Typically 3 to 6 weeks. iPhone usually takes 2 to 3 weeks; Android can take longer because of Google’s 14-day testing rule for new accounts
In-app subscriptions

Subscriptions on both stores through RevenueCat: the paywall, restore purchases, and sandbox testing, set up so renewals and cancellations are handled correctly.
Typically 1 to 2 weeks
Care plan
from $200per month
New iOS and Android versions, the yearly SDK deadlines Apple and Google set for updates, store policy changes, and small fixes.
Ongoing, with replies within one business day

Store review times are set by Apple and Google, so the timelines above include a typical review.

How a project runs

  1. Free review

Send us your app or repo and what you need. We tell you what it will take, including anything likely to cause trouble with App Review.

  2. Fixed quote

You get a written scope and a fixed price. Nothing starts until you agree to it.

  3. Build and submit

We do the work in your repository and your developer accounts, and take the app through review on each store.

  4. Keep it running

Optionally, a monthly care plan covers new OS versions, SDK updates and store policy changes.

Questions

Will Apple accept a web app wrapped as an app?

Apple rejects apps that are only a website in a frame, under guideline 4.2. An app that adds real native value usually passes. In the free review we tell you how your app looks against that rule before you pay for anything.

Can you work with an app built in Cursor, Lovable or Replit?

Yes. If the code can be exported to a repository, we can work with it. AI-built apps often need cleanup in the same few places, and we point those out in the review.

Who owns the code and the store listings?

You do. The work happens in your repository and under your own Apple and Google developer accounts.

Do I need my own developer accounts?

Yes. The Apple Developer Program is $99 a year and a Google Play developer account is a one-time $25. We can walk you through setting both up.

Why does Android take longer?

Google requires new personal developer accounts to run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days in a row before an app can go public. We plan the schedule around it and help you organize testers. Organization accounts are exempt, and we can tell you whether switching makes sense.

What if my app was already rejected?

Send us the rejection message. That is exactly what the App Store rescue package is for.

Tell us about your app

Where it is now, where it needs to go, and what is in the way. Send a link or a rejection message and we will tell you what it takes.
